A snow day.

We had another snow day here in Lexington. I don't understand their criteria but whatever. We had to run out to take care of some errands and had no problem getting around. In other news, had a nice time watching the Super Bowl last night. Dillon was really into it. I watch mostly for the commercials and half-time show, I must admit. They didn't seem to be as good this year. Other than that, school is going well for the kids and I am still trying to find the perfect job. I signed up to do some agency work in the meantime.

A castle in Kentucky!!!

Took the kids over to Woodford Co. to see The Martin Castle over the weekend. They all agreed it was very neat looking. It looked like they were rebuilding it from the fire a couple years ago. I wonder if we will ever be able to see the inside?

Little Update

I was bad and didn't take any pictures on Christmas. We've had an awesome time this year though. Our fun started on Saturday night with a get together at Tommy and Kris' house. We had a great time with great food, visiting with family and opening presents. All in all a great time. Christmas day we made the trip to Shelbyville to celebrate with Brian's family. Another great time visiting, eating, and present opening! Lastly, We celebrated with Grandpa and Sue on Friday night with pizza and swimming. A great time was had by all. :) I promise to take some pictures soon.

We don't have internet access or phone yet but we arrived in KY yesterday and all in one piece. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

We just want to wish all of our family and friends a very happy Thanksgiving. We appreciate all of your love, support, and friendship today and always. Update on us: Dillon has worked his buns off and pulled up all of his grades! Way to go Dillon (and Mom)!!! He is the only one in this house that has escaped this round of sickies. Barrett and I both have bronchitis and feel terrible. He had to miss his Thanksgiving feast at school and was very disappointed. Hannah and Jackson acted like they had a touch of something but seem to be on the mend. Hannah's nosebleeds have slowed down a lot since we started on the claratin, nose spray, and humidifier routine. We are on pins and needles waiting to hear the "good news!" Cross your fingers and toes!

This morning was "Special Persons Day" at Barrett's school. I had a great time visiting his school. We hung out on the playground, had a visit with Clifford, made Indian vest for the Thanksgiving celebration next week, and finally made a stop at the bookfair. Here are some pics of the fun...
